A RESOLUTION
Commending and congratulating the Georgia School of Orthodontics upon its 10th anniversary; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, the Georgia School of Orthodontics (GSO) was founded in 2014 by Mr. Chris Lazzara and Dr. Gasper Lazzara with a bold and visionary commitment to expanding access to advanced orthodontic education while providing affordable, high-quality orthodontic care to the citizens of the State of Georgia and beyond; and
WHEREAS, over the past decade, the GSO has emerged as a national model for innovation in orthodontic education, workforce development, and community-centered care, strengthening Georgia's standing as a leader in healthcare excellence; and
WHEREAS, under the distinguished leadership of Co-Founder Mr. Chris Lazzara, the GSO has successfully educated and trained hundreds of orthodontic residents and dental professionals, contributing significantly to the development of a highly skilled healthcare workforce within the State of Georgia; and
WHEREAS, the institution has expanded access to affordable, high-quality orthodontic care for underserved and working families, addressing longstanding healthcare disparities and improving the quality of life for thousands of Georgians; and
WHEREAS, through meaningful collaboration with healthcare, academic, and professional organizations nationwide, the GSO has elevated standards of specialty dental education and reinforced Georgia's commitment to innovation, economic growth, and public service; and
WHEREAS, the 10th anniversary of the Georgia School of Orthodontics marks a significant milestone of excellence, equity, service, and innovation, reflecting the enduring dedication of its founders and leadership to both professional advancement and the public good.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body commend and congratulate the Georgia School of Orthodontics and Mr. Chris Lazzara upon the celebration of its 10th anniversary and recognize the institution's outstanding contributions to orthodontic education, workforce development, and community health throughout the State of Georgia and the United States. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the Georgia School of Orthodontics.
