A RESOLUTION
Recognizing Mystic Chapter No. 739, Order of the Eastern Star, upon 35 years of dedicated
service to the Atlanta community; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, founded in Atlanta, Georgia, Mystic Chapter No. 739, Order of the Eastern Star,
has exemplified the values of charity, truth, and loving-kindness, making a lasting impact
across the community for over 35 years; and
WHEREAS, under the leadership of Sister Roslyn Ridgeway, Worthy Matron, the chapter’s
Sisters and Brothers have faithfully volunteered their time, energy, and leadership to address
important community needs, including supporting children with autism, assisting youth
experiencing homelessness, supporting military veterans and their families, and aiding
survivors of domestic violence; and
WHEREAS, the dedication of Mystic Chapter No. 739’s Sisters and Brothers reflects the
highest ideals of the Order of the Eastern Star and serves as an inspiring example of civic
engagement and compassion; and
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this remarkable organization be
appropriately honored.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
the members of this body recognize Mystic Chapter No. 739, Order of the Eastern Star, for
35 years of exemplary service and tireless commitment to the Atlanta community.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to
Mystic Chapter No. 739, Order of the Eastern Star.
