A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending Pastor Adrian R. Smith, Sr.; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, Pastor Adrian R. Smith, Sr., has demonstrated his commitment to teaching the
Gospel, witnessing Christ through word and deed, and addressing the physical,
psychological, intellectual, and spiritual needs of others; and
WHEREAS, he is a devoted servant leader whose life and ministry reflect unwavering faith,
steadfast commitment, and a heart for God's people; and
WHEREAS, Pastor Smith's journey with Christian Missionary Baptist Church began in
January 1998, marking the start of nearly two decades of faithful service; and
WHEREAS, during his early years at Christian Missionary Baptist Church, Pastor Smith
served diligently in multiple capacities, including Sunday School Teacher, Sunday School
Superintendent, member of the Usher Board, and participant in the church choir; and
WHEREAS, Pastor Smith now serves as the Pastor of Christian Missionary Baptist Church,
where he leads with humility, compassion, and a vision rooted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ;
and
WHEREAS, his vision and direction have helped Christian Missionary Baptist Church grow
in size and influence, uplifting the community like the light of Bethlehem and serving as a
spiritual leader and place for fellowship; and
WHEREAS, whether the task is preparing a sermon, visiting the sick, counseling the
troubled, baptizing a new believer, or acting as a theologian, educator, administrator, or
humanitarian, Pastor Smith serves as a shining example of God's righteous path and
WHEREAS, the unmatched spiritual assistance offered by Pastor Smith is a source of
strength and direction for persons in all walks of life; and
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this enduring example of God's message
of peace and love be recognized and congratulated for his innumerable good works rendered
on behalf of persons in need.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
the members of this body recognize and commend Pastor Adrian R. Smith, Sr., and extend
best wishes for his continued health and happiness.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Pastor
Adrian R. Smith, Sr.
