A RESOLUTION

Congratulating the North Paulding High School varsity competition cheer team for winning the 2025 GHSA Class 6A State Championship; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, the North Paulding High School varsity competition cheer team has established and maintained a proud tradition of excellence with equal emphases on character and academics; and

WHEREAS, this superlative team has completed another triumphant season of cheerleading competition by earning the highest score ever recorded in the school's history; and

WHEREAS, superior teamwork and extraordinary resilience made this team a spectacular one to observe throughout the season, and as a fitting finale to its remarkable 2025 campaign, the team captured North Paulding High School's first 6A state championship; and

WHEREAS, the phenomenal performance of the team is a clear indication of the outstanding athletic ability, dedication, hard work, and unity of purpose and spirit of each member of the team; and

WHEREAS, in addition to its athletic achievements, the North Paulding High School varsity competition cheer team participated in several community and school events including, supporting the school's other sports teams with goodie bags as well as volunteering their time with the West Ridge Night to Shine, community ribbon cuttings, North Paulding Hall of Fame, BHE Community Helper Day, the Special Olympics, and Holiday in the Den; and

WHEREAS, as this magnificent team earned its well-deserved reputation for excellence by performing with courage and precision over months of training and competition, it is abundantly proper to call them champions.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body congratulate the North Paulding High School varsity competition cheer team for winning the 2025 GHSA Class 6A State Championship and extend best wishes for their continued success.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the North Paulding High School varsity competition cheer team.
