House Resolution 1826
By: Representatives Momtahan of the 17th, Kelley of the 16th, Gullett of the 19th, New of the
40th, and Smith of the 18th
A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending Jesse Hughen on his outstanding public service; and for other
purposes.
WHEREAS, Jesse Hughen has long been recognized by the citizens of this state for the vital
role that he has played in leadership and his deep personal commitment to the welfare of the
citizens of Georgia; and
WHEREAS, Jesse proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, where he developed
the discipline, leadership, and work ethic that has continued to define his career; and
WHEREAS, he has diligently and conscientiously devoted innumerable hours of his time,
talents, and energy toward the betterment of his community and state as evidenced
dramatically by his superlative service to Paulding County; and
WHEREAS, Jesse began his career with Paulding County as a Plumbing Technician and
quickly distinguished himself through his hard work, dedication, and problem solving ability;
and
WHEREAS, in his current role as Project Manager, Jesse exemplifies integrity,
accountability, safety, and a servant mindset, as well as consistently leads projects with
professionalism and attention to detail; and
WHEREAS, Jesse successfully remodeled a Paulding County Fire Station, both under budget
and quicker than expected, improving the functionality and service of the station; and
WHEREAS, he diligently led the construction of the new Fleet Maintenance Building,
managed major renovations and construction efforts for the Paulding County Health
Department, and has contributed to countless other significant improvement projects
throughout the county; and
WHEREAS, his significant organizational and leadership talents, remarkable patience and
diplomacy, keen sense of vision, and sensitivity to the needs of the citizens of this state have
earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and associates; and
WHEREAS, Jesse Hughen has served with honor and distinction in Paulding County, and
his vision and unyielding commitment have set the standard for public service.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
the members of this body recognize and commend Jesse Hughen for his efficient, effective,
unselfish, and dedicated public service to the State of Georgia and extend the most sincere
best wishes for continued health and happiness.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Jesse
Hughen.
