WHEREAS, the Urban League of Greater Atlanta Young Professionals (ULGA-YP) is an organization dedicated to empowering young professionals in the metro Atlanta area, fostering leadership development, and advocating for social and economic equality; and WHEREAS, the Urban League of the River Valley Young Professionals (ULRV-YP) is dedicated to serving the young professionals working in the River Valley region; and WHEREAS, this year, the Columbus Chapter of the ULRV-YP is celebrating its 10th anniversary; and WHEREAS, the ULGA-YP and ULRV-YP have consistently demonstrated a commitment to community service, education, and civic engagement, thereby contributing to the betterment of this state; and WHEREAS, the ULGA-YP and ULRV-YP have played pivotal roles in addressing pressing issues such as education, workforce development, and social justice, working towards creating a more equitable and inclusive society.
