A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending the school psychologists serving the students and families of Henry County Schools; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, school psychologists play an essential role in supporting the academic, emotional, and behavioral well-being of students across Henry County; and
WHEREAS, these professionals provide psychological evaluations, counseling support, behavioral intervention strategies, crisis response, and collaboration with educators and families to ensure students receive the support necessary to thrive in school and in life; and
WHEREAS, the school psychologists serving Henry County Schools for the 2025-2026 school year include: Dr. Donzaleigh Arrington; Crystal Calhoun; Dr. Cherisse Chisolm; Dr. Sabrina Coneway; Dr. Janet Cooks; Amanda Cooper; Paul Darbouze; Mikaila Dunn; Dr. Alta Eblin; Marjory Fortune; Marline Francois; Dr. Linda Gable; Jennifer Hike; Janet Huggins; Cosheka Hughes; Stephanie Meddaugh; Victoria Sanchez; Dr. Alexandria Elliott-Sherman; Carol Smith; Daniel Sparrow; Lisa Thomason; Dr. Jessica Traylor; Amy Turner; and Dr. Sharise Wilson, along with other school psychologists serving the district whose contributions are equally valued; and
WHEREAS, these professionals work closely with teachers, administrators, families, and community partners to promote safe and supportive learning environments and to ensure that all students have access to the resources needed for success; and
WHEREAS, the work of these school psychologists not only benefits the students and families of Henry County but also contributes to the overall health, safety, and educational success of the State of Georgia; and
WHEREAS, their commitment to the well-being of students strengthens public education and enhances the quality of life in communities throughout this state.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body recognize and commend the school psychologists serving Henry County Schools for their outstanding service and dedication to the students and families of this state and extend their most sincere best wishes for continued success. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make appropriate copies of this resolution available for distribution to the school psychologists of Henry County Schools.
