By: Representatives Taylor of the 92nd, Buckner of the 137th, and Alexander of the 66th
A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending Jai Ferrell; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, Jai Ferrell is an award-winning global executive with more than 20 years of
expertise and experience in leadership, marketing, brand strategy, customer experience,
operations, personnel management, and revenue generation; and
WHEREAS, she currently serves as chief executive officer of Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta,
leading a $25 million organization that supports over 35,000 members across 35 counties,
and she is the first person of color to lead the organization in its more than 100-year-long
history; and
WHEREAS, she previously served as chief commercial revenue officer at Hartsfield-Jackson
Atlanta International Airport, where she managed a commercial portfolio exceeding $1.5
billion annually and was the first to hold the role; and
WHEREAS, she is further affiliated with the American Cancer Society ResearcHER, Lead
Atlanta, the KPMG Executive Women in Leadership program, and Alpha Kappa Alpha
Sorority, Incorporated, Phi Beta Kappa; and
WHEREAS, Jai Ferrell has received numerous honors in recognition of her service,
including Atlanta Magazine's 500 Top Leaders (2022-2026), U.S. Black Chambers POWER
50 Women of Influence (2025), and Who's Who in America (2025); and
WHEREAS, this distinguished gentlewoman has given inspiration to many through her high
ideals, morals, and deep concern for her fellow citizens, and she possesses the vast wisdom
which only comes through experience and the strength of character which is achieved
through overcoming the many challenges of life; and
WHEREAS, she is a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation for
integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; and
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this
remarkable and distinguished individual be appropriately honored.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
the members of this body recognize and commend Jai Ferrell for her many exceptional career
accomplishments as well as extend the most sincere best wishes for continued success.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Jai
Ferrell.
