A RESOLUTION

Recognizing and commending the House session assistants for the 2026 regular session of the General Assembly of Georgia; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, each year, the Georgia House of Representatives relies on staff members to ensure that the business of the body runs efficiently, smoothly, and effectively; and

WHEREAS, the temporary session assistants of the Georgia House of Representatives have demonstrated a commitment to ensuring the proper administration of the legislative process and to handling constituent needs with care and compassion; and

WHEREAS, the Georgia House of Representatives has been very fortunate to have had the exceptional service of temporary session assistants whose work is consistently marked by their devotion to helping citizens and their constant commitment to the highest standards of excellence; and

WHEREAS, the members of the Georgia House of Representatives salute the session assistants of the 2026 regular session for their hard work and a job well done: Barbara Hill, Elizabeth Giron-Hernandez, Andre Cross, Leah Soller, Davis Camuso, Majorie Guerrero, Blair Bonner, Logan Birchmore, Ann Retty, Reaghan Malone, Brishae Dixon, and Marcus Ross; and

WHEREAS, the hard work and dedication of these distinguished Georgians have proven to be enormous assets to the citizens of Georgia, and all the members of the General Assembly greatly appreciate the invaluable service of temporary session assistants who enable their business to run smoothly and successfully.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body commend the House session assistants for the 2026 regular session of the General Assembly of Georgia on their superb performance. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make appropriate copies of this resolution available for distribution to the 2026 Georgia House of Representatives session assistants.
