A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending the artistic achievements, cultural impact, and community
engagement of YK Niece; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, the State of Georgia has long stood at the forefront of music, culture, and
innovation, producing artists whose influence resonates across the nation and around the
world; and
WHEREAS, YK Niece, an emerging artist from Atlanta, Georgia, has quickly established
herself as one of hip-hop's most exciting new voices, representing the vibrancy and creativity
of the state's music scene; and
WHEREAS, she gained widespread attention with her viral hit "WHIM WHAMMIE," which
has amassed millions of streams and social media engagements, helping to propel her into
national recognition; and
WHEREAS, her rapidly growing catalog, including standout tracks such as "Innit" and "Take

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to YK
