A RESOLUTION

Recognizing and commending the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce (GNFCC) was founded in 1972 to promote economic development in the region, and it has since allowed the cities of Johns Creek, Milton, Alpharetta, Roswell, Mountain Park, and Sandy Springs to develop into diverse and thriving areas; and

WHEREAS, GNFCC's mission is to grow business, develop talent, and lead regional prosperity throughout North Fulton, with the vision to be the premier business organization driving member and community success; and

WHEREAS, GNFCC is a five star accredited chamber dedicated to fostering business growth and expansion, talent and leadership cultivation, and member value and engagement through the guiding principles of advocacy, inclusivity, and operational excellence; and

WHEREAS, GNFCC's strategic focus on influence and advocacy for businesses throughout the region keeps the public informed on legislation impacting business and assists members in meeting with their local representatives both state and federally; and

WHEREAS, with over 500 alumni and counting, Leadership North Fulton (LNF) has been GNFCC's signature leadership development program for over 30 years, upholding the mission of promoting community awareness, instilling civic responsibility, and building relationships; and

WHEREAS, through its Businesswomen Organizing for Leadership and Development

(BOLD) program, GNFCC further works to enable businesswomen to create outstanding networks and spheres of influence, build partnerships together and with organizations to develop business, and to grow the community around businesswomen in North Fulton, awarding businesswomen every year for their achievement to the community.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body recognize and commend the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce for its many outstanding contributions on behalf of the citizens and businesses of this state as well as extend best wishes for continued success. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce.
