WHEREAS, Jajuan Mitchell has long been recognized by the citizens of this state for his deep personal commitment to the welfare of the citizens of Georgia; and WHEREAS, Jajuan, of Atlanta, Georgia, is a junior at Georgia Gwinnett College, majoring in English; and WHEREAS, he has earned placement on the Dean’s List for his academic achievements and is dedicated to pursuing a career in law, with the goal of attending law school; and WHEREAS, as a member of the inaugural cohort of the Georgia Gwinnett College Internship Program at the Georgia State Capitol, Jajuan worked with State Representative Doreen Carter of the 93rd District, gaining hands-on experience in legislative processes; and WHEREAS, he contributed by following bills, attending committee meetings, drafting professional documents, and participating in events, gaining practical insight into how laws are developed and implemented; and WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this remarkable and distinguished Georgian be appropriately recognized. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body recognize and commend Jajuan Mitchell for his efficient, effective, unselfish, and dedicated public service to the State of Georgia and extend the most sincere best wishes for continued health and happiness.
