A RESOLUTION
Commending Dillon Terrell; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, Dillon Terrell of Newnan, Georgia, is a student at the University of West Georgia, where he is pursuing a double major in computing and philosophy and working toward an ethics certificate; and
WHEREAS, since August 2025, Dillon Terrell has served as a community engagement intern in the Office of Representative Lydia Glaize, supporting outreach initiatives, assisting with event coordination for town halls and constituent engagement, and contributing to professional correspondence and digital communications; and
WHEREAS, through his work in this role, he has gained meaningful experience in legislative and community-focused operations while assisting efforts that serve citizens across the State of Georgia; and
WHEREAS, he has further demonstrated leadership and civic involvement through his service as president of the NAACP Coweta County Youth Council and his membership in organizations such as Empowered 4 Life and the University of West Georgia Philosophical Society; and
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this exemplary individual be appropriately honored during this special time.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body commend Dillon Terrell for his exceptional service as a legislative intern and extend the most sincere best wishes for future success. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Dillon Terrell.
