A RESOLUTION
Honoring Elect Lady Mary Frances Cochran for her faithful service; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, it is both fitting and proper to recognize and celebrate individuals whose lives
exemplify unwavering faith, steadfast service, and enduring love; and
WHEREAS, the distinguished Elect Lady Mary Frances Cochran of the Franchise
Missionary Baptist Church has been divinely chosen and spiritually appointed to serve God
and His people with grace, humility, and dedication for an extraordinary 57 years; and
WHEREAS, throughout her years of service, she has stood as a pillar of strength beside her
husband, Dr. Raymond Cochran, in ministry, offering wisdom, compassion, and spiritual
guidance to countless members of the church family and community; and
WHEREAS, her commitment extended beyond the church walls as she faithfully maintained
a professional career for 21 years, demonstrating diligence, balance, and perseverance while
continuing her sacred calling; and
WHEREAS, she has been abundantly blessed to nurture, raise, and educate six daughters and
two sons, instilling in them the values of faith, integrity, and purpose; and
WHEREAS, her legacy of love and leadership has flourished across four generations,
including grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, each a testament
to her enduring influence and godly example; and
WHEREAS, her life's work reflects a profound commitment to service, family, and faith,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
the members of this body honor and celebrate the remarkable Elect Lady Mary Frances
Cochran for her lifelong dedication, her selfless service, and her unwavering devotion to
God, her family, and her church community.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Elect
Lady Mary Frances Cochran.
