A RESOLUTION
Recognizing Addie Speigner as the 2026 State Champion in the 100m Butterfly; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, the sport of competitive swimming requires an extraordinary level of cardiovascular endurance, technical precision, and mental toughness; and
WHEREAS, Addie Speigner has dedicated herself to countless hours of early morning training and rigorous preparation to compete among the elite swimmers in the state; and
WHEREAS, the 100 m butterfly is a premier event that demands a perfect balance of strength and stroke mechanics, often decided by a fraction of a second; and
WHEREAS, Addie Speigner demonstrated elite athleticism and composure at the 2026 State Championships, touching the wall first to secure the gold and the title of State Champion with 55.62; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body congratulate Addie Speigner for her remarkable performance and commitment to athletic excellence as well as commend her for her 2026 State Title. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Addie Speigner.
