A RESOLUTION

Congratulating the South Forsyth High School girls swimming team for winning the 2026 GHSA Class 6A State Championship; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, the student-athletes of South Forsyth have demonstrated unparalleled dedication, discipline, and competitive spirit during the 2025-2026 swimming season; and

WHEREAS, the South Forsyth High School girls swimming team has reached the pinnacle of athletic achievement by capturing the 2026 GHSA Class 6A State Championship, representing their school and community with distinction; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body congratulate the South Forsyth High School girls swimming team for winning the 2026 GHSA Class 6A State Championship and extend their deepest appreciation to the coaches, families, and supporters who contributed to this historic season. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to South Forsyth High School.
