A RESOLUTION

Congratulating the Denmark High School varsity dance team for winning the 2026 GHSA 6A State Championship in the Hip Hop Division; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, the Denmark High School varsity dance team has reached the pinnacle of competitive excellence by securing the 6A State Championship in the Hip Hop Division; and

WHEREAS, through their dedication, artistic expression, and unwavering school spirit, these student-athletes have brought immense pride and honor to Denmark High School and the entire community; and

WHEREAS, the success of this team is a testament to the countless hours of rehearsals, the pursuit of technical perfection, and the seamless synergy displayed by every member on the floor; and

WHEREAS, this championship performance was made possible by the collective talent and grit of its members: Gabi Antunez, Yzabella Canete, Ivy Deng, Katelyn Ford, Jenny Hahn, Hollyn Johnston, Meredith Maroney, Emilia Martin, Sadie Menard, Zarah Muhammed, Dhanvi Pabolu, Cardyn Pace, Lyla Pickens, Killian Grace Shariett, Melissa Shih, Grace Stein, Aradya Turlapati, Janaki Udayarajan, and Vhavika Vrikesh.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body congratulate the Denmark High School varsity dance team and commend them for winning the 2026 GHSA 6A State Championship in the Hip Hop Division.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the Denmark High School varsity dance team.
