A RESOLUTION
Congratulating the FCS Innovation Academy Splatoon 3 team for winning the Spring 2025
GHSA Esports State Championship; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, the FCS Innovation Academy Splatoon 3 team has established and maintained
a proud tradition of excellence, demonstrating outstanding skill, strategic thinking, and
perseverance in the realm of competitive esports; and
WHEREAS, this exceptional team completed another triumphant season of competitive
gaming by posting an outstanding record of seven wins and only one loss, culminating in
their second esports state championship in school history; and
WHEREAS, Splatoon 3 is a fast-paced, team-based esports title that requires exceptional
coordination, adaptability, and strategic execution, all of which the FCS Innovation Academy
team has mastered to achieve their numerous victories; and
WHEREAS, under the astute leadership of Head Coaches Zabby Heying and James Seals,
the team has consistently demonstrated the highest standards of competitive excellence,
dedicating themselves to weekly training, strategic development, and a deep understanding
of game mechanics to remain at the forefront of the competition; and
WHEREAS, this outstanding team has brought great honor to FCS Innovation Academy and
the surrounding community through their impressive achievements, setting a high standard
for future competitors and inspiring their peers in the field of esports; and
WHEREAS, as this magnificent team earned its well-deserved reputation for excellence by
performing with courage and precision over months of training and competition, it is
abundantly proper to call them champions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
the members of this body commend the FCS Innovation Academy Splatoon 3 team for
winning the Spring 2025 GHSA Esports State Championship and extend best wishes for their
continued success.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the
FCS Innovation Academy Splatoon 3 team.
