A RESOLUTION

Commending the Roswell High School competition cheerleading team for winning the 2025 GHSA Co-Ed Cheerleading State Championship; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, the Roswell High School competition cheerleading team has established and maintained a proud tradition of excellence with equal emphases on character and academics; and

WHEREAS, this superlative team has engineered another rousing season of cheerleading competition, invitationals, and workshops; and

WHEREAS, high quality production, superior teamwork, and unshakable commitment made this team a spectacular one to observe throughout the season, and as a fitting finale to its remarkable 2025 campaign, the team captured a sectional championship, along with its first cheerleading state championship in school history; and

WHEREAS, the phenomenal performance of this competition team is a clear indication of the outstanding athletic ability, the dedication and hard work, and the unity of purpose and spirit of each member of the team; its focus on superb technique, stunting, and team culture; and the astute direction of Head Coaches Crystal Baker and Caroline Manus; and

WHEREAS, as this magnificent team earned its well-deserved reputation for excellence by performing with courage and precision over months of training and competition, it is abundantly proper to call them champions.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body commend the Roswell High School competition cheerleading team for winning the 2025 GHSA Co-Ed Cheerleading State Championship and extend their most sincere best wishes for continued success.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the Roswell High School competition cheerleading team.
