A RESOLUTION
Celebrating this year's Valentine's Day weddings; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, marriage is a cherished bond that unites two individuals in love, commitment, and partnership; and
WHEREAS, celebrated around the world as a symbol of love and devotion, Valentine's Day naturally serves as a fitting occasion for couples to exchange vows and begin their journey together; and
WHEREAS, choosing to marry on this special day reflects a deep appreciation for the values of love, romance, and lifelong commitment, evoking feelings of warmth and affection; and
WHEREAS, the celebration of marriage on Valentine's Day serves as a reminder of the enduring power of love and the joy it brings to family, friends, and the wider community; and
WHEREAS, this momentous occasion marks the beginning of a shared life filled with love, support, and companionship.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body celebrate this year's Valentine's Day weddings and extend best wishes for shared health, happiness, and fulfillment.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make appropriate copies of this resolution available for distribution to the public and the press.
