House Resolution 267
By: Representative Crawford of the 89th
A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending Brother Keiton Robinson; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, Brother Keiton Robinson is a senior at the University of West Georgia, where
he is completing a Bachelor of Science in biology with aspirations of earning a Doctor of
Veterinary Medicine; and
WHEREAS, he was initiated into the Kappa Kappa Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc.
in fall 2023, where he currently serves as Chapter Basileus; and
WHEREAS, in spring 2024, he received the Dr. Moses C. Norman Sr. Education Scholarship
Award at the 87th District Meeting in Biloxi, Mississippi; and
WHEREAS, Brother Keiton Robinson was elected 2nd Vice State Representative of the State
Organization of Georgia at the 61st Georgia State Meeting and was granted the Bro. Alonzo
A. Bennett Scholarship Award in recognition of his leadership and academic excellence; and
WHEREAS, an exemplary student-leader, he further serves as the Secretary of the University
of West Georgia Pan-Hellenic Council, where he makes a positive impact on his peers
though his dedication and commitment to the community; and
WHEREAS, he additionally serves as an involved member of numerous organizations,
including the Pre-Vet Club, Wildlife Club, Emerging Healthcare Leaders, and the Chemistry
Association; and
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this extraordinary student be
appropriately honored.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
the members of this body recognize and commend Brother Keiton Robinson for his many
remarkable accomplishments as well as extend best wishes for continued success.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to
Brother Keiton Robinson.
