A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey®; and for other
purposes.
WHEREAS, Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey, producers of The Greatest Show On
Earth®, have been a cherished and iconic part of American entertainment for over 150 years,
captivating children of all ages with awe-inspiring performances, world-class talent, and
unforgettable experiences; and
WHEREAS, from February 14-17 and 21-23, Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey will
entertain audiences of all ages throughout the Atlanta area with a multi-platform, 360-degree
experience that will bring fans directly into the action; and
WHEREAS, this iconic production will consist of 75 performers representing 18 different
nationalities, all of whom will perform over 50 exhilarating circus acts in a fast-paced,
action-packed, two-hour-long show; and
WHEREAS, this all-new, re-imagined edition of The Greatest Show On Earth will blend
together breathtaking stunts, high-energy performances, and laugh-out-loud moments that
will form real connections between audience and performer; and
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey be
appropriately honored during this special time.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
the members of this body recognize and commend Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey®
upon their upcoming performances and extend best wishes for successful shows in Georgia.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to
Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey®.
