A RESOLUTION

Commending Dr. Whitney N. Blanco; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, the second annual Tech Demo Day at the state capitol will be held March 13, 2025, hosted by Representative Dar'shun Kendrick; and

WHEREAS, this exciting event will both celebrate Women's History Month and highlight leaders from across the State of Georgia under the theme "Women In Artificial Intelligence"; and

WHEREAS, a strategic leader and entrepreneur, Dr. Whitney N. Blanco is the founder of Acreage, a real estate analytics platform that leverages AI, machine learning, and GIS to revolutionize urban development through data-driven solutions that promote economic growth, sustainability, and responsible development; and

WHEREAS, with a multifaceted background in real estate, civil engineering, public health, and international development, she has spent over a decade designing innovative strategies that bridge technology, urban planning, and financial feasibility, making her a sought-after consultant for transformative initiatives worldwide; and

WHEREAS, her career spans the corporate, government, and nonprofit sectors, where she has led cross-functional teams, advised on multi-million-dollar real estate and international programs, and established high-impact partnerships with government agencies, private sector leaders, and global organizations; and

WHEREAS, she has further served as a World Health Organization (WHO) global coordinator and project management officer, leading international development strategies, health infrastructure planning, and a $1 billion Ebola response plan in collaboration with G7, G20, and major world health funders; and

WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this outstanding participant be appropriately honored for using her passion and creativity to make our state a better place in which to live and work.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body commend Dr. Whitney N. Blanco for her many remarkable career accomplishments as well as extend the most sincere gratitude for her dedicated efforts on behalf of the citizens of this state and beyond.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Dr. Whitney N. Blanco.
