House Resolution 296 By: Representative Kendrick of the 95th A RESOLUTION Commending Patience Babajide; and for other purposes. WHEREAS, the second annual Tech Demo Day at the state capitol will be held March 13, 2025, hosted by Representative Dar'shun Kendrick; and WHEREAS, this exciting event will both celebrate Women's History Month and highlight leaders from across the State of Georgia under the theme "Women In Artificial Intelligence"; and WHEREAS, Patience Babajide is an accomplished attorney with over a decade of legal experience who currently serves as senior corporate counsel at a global talent assessment and workforce solutions company, where she advises on high-stakes business transactions and compliance matters; and WHEREAS, as the founder of Law Rooted LLC, she has dedicated innumerable hours of her time and energy toward assisting individuals and businesses in navigating complex legal frameworks with a focus on estate planning and business transactions; and WHEREAS, she further serves as the co-founder of Midly, a SaaS company that integrates contract lifecycle management, customer relationship management, and document review tools into a single streamlined platform; and WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this outstanding participant be appropriately honored for using her passion and creativity to make our state a better place in which to live and work. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body commend Patience Babajide for her many remarkable career accomplishments as well as extend the most sincere gratitude for her dedicated efforts on behalf of the citizens of this state and beyond. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Patience Babajide.
