A RESOLUTION
Commending Denise N. Smith; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, the second annual Tech Demo Day at the state capitol will be held March 13,
2025, hosted by Representative Dar'shun Kendrick; and
WHEREAS, this exciting event will both celebrate Women's History Month and highlight
leaders from across the State of Georgia under the theme "Women In Artificial Intelligence";
and
WHEREAS, Denise N. Smith is a visionary leader with over two decades of experience in
technology and business strategy who currently serves as CEO of DNS Consulting, where
she collaborates with small businesses, private equity, and venture capital portfolio
companies to drive innovation, scalability, and transformative growth; and
WHEREAS, her distinguished career spans prior leadership roles at firms such as EY, Cox
Automotive, and Hewitt Associates, during which time she has spearheaded initiatives to
optimize performance, scale operations, and advance technological solutions; and
WHEREAS, a passionate advocate for leveraging technology to bridge societal gaps, Denise
N. Smith has traveled to 152 countries, gaining a global perspective on business innovation
and leadership, and her expertise in AI and technology transformation has positioned her as
a forward-thinking trailblazer; and
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this outstanding participant be
appropriately honored for using her passion and creativity to make our state a better place
in which to live and work.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
the members of this body commend Denise N. Smith for her many remarkable career
accomplishments as well as extend the most sincere gratitude for her dedicated efforts on
behalf of the citizens of this state and beyond.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to
Denise N. Smith.
