A RESOLUTION
Congratulating and commending the Bartow County Sheriff's Office, the Cartersville-Bartow
County Chamber of Commerce 2024 Community Partner of the Year; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, under the leadership of Sheriff Clark Millsap, the Bartow County Sheriff's
Office has made a profound impact on the community through its commitment to service,
collaboration, and innovation; and
WHEREAS, the Bartow County Sheriff's Office has been a key partner in the success of the
Second Chance program, working with the chamber's workforce development initiatives to
create opportunities for individuals seeking a fresh start; and
WHEREAS, through these efforts, the Bartow County Sheriff's Office has helped countless
citizens rebuild their lives and fostered hope within the community; and
WHEREAS, the Bartow County Sheriff's Office has further transformed how the community
supports those in need, making it a well-deserved recipient of this prestigious award.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
the members of this body congratulate the Bartow County Sheriff's Office upon being named
the Cartersville-Bartow County Chamber of Commerce 2024 Community Partner of the
Year; commend the Bartow County Sheriff's Office for its many outstanding contributions
on behalf of the citizens of Georgia; and extend best wishes for its continued success.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the
Bartow County Sheriff's Office.
