WHEREAS, the State of Georgia recognizes the vital contributions of small businesses to economic prosperity, job creation, and community development across the state; and WHEREAS, Small Business Day, celebrated on March 5, 2025, highlights the entrepreneurial spirit and resilience of small business owners and their role as a cornerstone of Georgia's economy; and WHEREAS, the "Capitalize Georgia: Empowering Financial Futures and Business Excellence Symposium," held on Small Business Day at the Georgia State Capitol, exemplifies Georgia's commitment to advancing financial literacy, business excellence, and empowerment; and WHEREAS, the symposium is led by esteemed hosts Dr. Jacqueline Mohair, Dr. Sonya Hamm, and Dr. Dorothea (Dee) Dawkins-Haigler, whose leadership and dedication have been pivotal in creating this impactful event; and WHEREAS, the commendable support and leadership of Rep. Billy Mitchell in welcoming and promoting this symposium underscore the Georgia House of Representatives' dedication to supporting small businesses and fostering economic growth; and WHEREAS, this symposium features a distinguished lineup of speakers, including Dr. Dorothea (Dee) Dawkins-Haigler, Dr. Jacqueline Mohair, Dr. Sonya Hamm, Rep.
