A RESOLUTION

Congratulating and commending Natasha Byrd for receiving the 2025 Yellow Rose Nikki T. Randall Servant Leadership Award; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Natasha Byrd, CEO and Founder of Dream Teens Community Foundation Inc., has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to serving and empowering her community through mentorship, youth development, and philanthropic efforts; and

WHEREAS, as an Atlanta native and the eldest of 12 siblings, Natasha embraced leadership and care giving from an early age, dedicating her life to uplifting others, particularly young athletes, underserved individuals, and families in need; and

WHEREAS, through her extensive experience in recruiting, human resources, and community relations, Natasha has provided invaluable support to job seekers, fostering second-chance employment opportunities and guiding individuals toward success; and

WHEREAS, Natasha's work at UPS as a District Community Relations representative for the UPS Foundation allowed her to collaborate with nonprofits across Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina, strengthening community programs and initiatives; and

WHEREAS, recognizing the need for youth empowerment in education, counseling, health and wellness, life skills, and community exposure, Natasha founded the Dream Teens Community Foundation Inc. to equip young people with the knowledge and resources to build a brighter future; and

WHEREAS, her dedication to service embodies the spirit of collaboration and the philosophy that "It Takes a Village," ensuring that the next generation is nurtured, supported, and prepared for success; and

WHEREAS, in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the community, her leadership in youth development, and her lifelong mission to uplift others, we are honored to present Natasha Byrd with the Yellow Rose Award for her exemplary service and profound impact.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body congratulate and commend Natasha Byrd for receiving the 2025 Yellow Rose Nikki T. Randall Servant Leadership Award, celebrate her selfless dedication and work as an inspiration to all who strive to make a difference in the lives of others, and extend best wishes for her continued success.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Natasha Byrd.
