## Summaries written by Georgia Commons

The following was written by claude-sonnet-5 from the text above and is not part of the resolution. Quote the text, not the summary.

A Georgia House resolution formally commends Olori Atuwatse III, Queen Consort of the Warri Kingdom, for her philanthropic and leadership work in Africa.

### Plain-language summary

This resolution from the Georgia House of Representatives honors Olori Atuwatse III, Queen Consort of the Warri Kingdom in Nigeria, for her work in education, healthcare, women's empowerment, and cultural preservation across Africa. It lists her accomplishments, including founding Elevate Africa and the Royal Iwere Foundation, launching women's mentorship programs, and receiving honors such as the Freedom of the City of London.
The resolution does not change any Georgia law. It simply states the House's recognition of her contributions and directs the Clerk of the House of Representatives to prepare a copy of the resolution for her.

### What it does

- Formally recognizes Olori Atuwatse III for her contributions to education, healthcare, and economic development in Africa.
- States the House's best wishes for her continued success and global leadership.
- Directs the Clerk of the House of Representatives to prepare and distribute a copy of the resolution to her.
- Creates no new law, funding, or regulatory requirement; it is a ceremonial statement only.

### Who it affects

This resolution directly names only Olori Atuwatse III, Queen Consort of the Warri Kingdom. It also involves the Clerk of the House of Representatives, who is tasked with preparing a copy for distribution to her.

### Why it matters

Because this is a ceremonial resolution rather than a law, it has no practical effect on Georgia residents, agencies, or budgets. Its significance is symbolic: a formal statement of recognition from the Georgia House of Representatives toward an individual outside the state.

### Key provisions

- The resolution's whereas clauses describe her leadership roles, philanthropic initiatives such as Elevate Africa and the Royal Iwere Foundation, and awards she has received.
- The resolved clause states that House members recognize her contributions and extend best wishes for continued success.
- A further resolved clause directs the Clerk of the House of Representatives to make a copy available for distribution to her.
