A RESOLUTION
Honoring the West Forsyth High School boys swim team, the 2024 GHSA Class 6A 4x100
Freestyle Relay State Champions; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, the West Forsyth High School Boys Swim Team has demonstrated outstanding
teamwork, dedication, and perseverance in the sport of swimming; and
WHEREAS, through their exceptional performance, Cade Anderson, Colton Carter, Nathan
Fedke, and Ty McGinn secured the title of 2024 GHSA Class 6A 4x100 Freestyle Relay
State Champions, bringing great pride and recognition to West Forsyth High School and
Forsyth County; and
WHEREAS, Coach Michele Heindl has the esteemed privilege of serving as head coach to
the program, and oversaw countless hours of training and competition to assist in the growth
of these young men as individuals and athletes; and
WHEREAS, their victory is a testament to their commitment to excellence, countless hours
of training, and the unwavering support of their coaches, teammates, families, and school
community; and
WHEREAS, their athletic achievements serve as an inspiration to their peers and a reflection
of the values of hard work, sportsmanship, and determination.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
the members of this body recognize and honor the West Forsyth High School boys swim
team for their exceptional accomplishment as the 2024 GHSA Class 6A 4x100 Freestyle
Relay State Champions.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to make appropriate copies of this resolution available for distribution to Cade
Anderson, Colton Carter, Nathan Fedke, and Ty McGinn.
