WHEREAS, second-grader John Reyes Martinez is the youngest student to represent Norcross Elementary School at the Capitol Art Exhibit in 15 years, which now features his self portrait made using oil pastels; and WHEREAS, John Reyes Martinez comes from a loving family of nine and lives with his beloved cat, Russo, and dog, Chapito; and WHEREAS, outside of art, he enjoys playing soccer as well as studying math and science in school; and WHEREAS, he comes from a loving family of nine and lives with his beloved cat, Russo, and dog, Chapito; and WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this young artist be appropriately honored.
