House Resolution 502 By: Representatives Beckles of the 96th, Adeyina of the 110th, Okoye of the 102nd, Lim of the 98th, McClain of the 109th, and others A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending the Student Council of Summerour Middle School; and for other purposes. WHEREAS, the Student Council of Summerour Middle School is dedicated to fostering a positive and inclusive environment where every student feels heard, valued, and empowered; and WHEREAS, the Student Council's mission is to promote school spirit, encourage collaboration, and represent the interests and ideas of its peers; and WHEREAS, the exemplary sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students in the Student Council strive to create meaningful opportunities for students to engage in school activities, develop leadership skills, and make a lasting impact in their community; and WHEREAS, outstanding educators Anna Lillard, Roxie Smith, and Allie Tangco serve as the Student Council's dedicated advisors; and WHEREAS, this remarkable student organization is comprised of members Alessandra Chacon, Allyson Salas, Angelica Avila, Anisa Ahmed, Carson Ta, Christina Williams, Dayanna Pineda, Emmanuel Figueroa, Genesis Diaz Medina, Ingrid Lopez Pacheco, Isabella Sias, Jessica Tran, Kaleth Mendoza, Kam Azad, Leslie Trejo, Nabil Zanhar, Niang Lum, Nickayla Johnson, Odalys Torres Hernandez, Shayla Fernandez-Ortiz, Uyen Hoang, Valery Castrillon, Yajaira Blanco, and You Kang Huang; and WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and popper that the dedication and hard-work of the students in the Student Council of Summerour Middle School is appropriately honored. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body recognize and commend the Student Council of Summerour Middle School and extend sincere best wishes for its continued success. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the Student Council of Summerour Middle School.
