A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending Maurice Davis, owner of J.M.R. Tires, Southeast Atlanta, for
his outstanding contributions to the community; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, Maurice Davis is a distinguished and esteemed resident of Southeast Atlanta,
Georgia, and the proud owner of J.M.R. Tires; and
WHEREAS, Maurice Davis has consistently demonstrated an unwavering commitment to
uplifting his community, particularly by providing opportunities for individuals in need of
a second chance; and
WHEREAS, through his business, J.M.R. Tires, Mr. Davis has offered employment,
mentorship, and guidance to countless individuals seeking to rebuild their lives, thereby
fostering economic stability and personal growth; and
WHEREAS, his dedication to service extends beyond his business, as he regularly supports
local initiatives, sponsors community events, and lends his resources to those in need; and
WHEREAS, Maurice Davis exemplifies the true spirit of generosity, perseverance, and
leadership, and his work has had a profound and lasting impact on the lives of many within
Southeast Atlanta and beyond; and
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding achievements and
community contributions of Maurice Davis be appropriately recognized.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
the members of this body recognize and commend Maurice Davis for his exemplary service
and dedication to the people of Southeast Atlanta, express their deepest gratitude for his
continued efforts in providing second chances to those in need, and extend best wishes for
his continued success.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to
Maurice Davis.
