House Resolution 535 By: Representatives Lim of the 98th, Reeves of the 99th, Au of the 50th, Beckles of the 96th, and Romman of the 97th A RESOLUTION Commending Four Corners Primary Care Centers; and for other purposes. WHEREAS, Four Corners Primary Care Centers (FCPC) is committed to delivering comprehensive primary health care services across all stages of life, ensuring accessible, high-quality care for the residents of its service area; and WHEREAS, FCPC provides primary care, oral health, mental health, substance abuse counseling, specialty care, pharmacy assistance, enabling services, education, and comprehensive outreach through service delivery locations in Norcross, Lawrenceville, and Hoschton; and WHEREAS, FCPC serves all individuals regardless of language, gender, socio-economic status, physical and mental capacity, age, religion, housing status, or ability to pay, with a particular focus on reaching homeless, low-income, uninsured, underinsured, vulnerable, Medicaid and Medicare patients; and WHEREAS, Gwinnett County faces significant challenges in health care access due in part to a shortage of primary care providers, resulting in poor health status indicators; and WHEREAS, the unwavering commitment of FCPC to improving health outcomes and reducing disparities in access to care has made a profound impact on the lives of countless individuals and families in Georgia; and WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this remarkable organization be appropriately honored during this special time. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body commend Four Corners Primary Care Centers for its outstanding efforts to address the critical health care needs of underserved communities and extend best wishes for continued success. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Four Corners Primary Care Centers.
