## Summaries written by Georgia Commons

The following was written by claude-sonnet-5 from the text above and is not part of the resolution. Quote the text, not the summary.

A Georgia House resolution formally congratulates Catherine Hardrick, a disabled Army veteran and community leader, for receiving the 2025 Yellow Rose Nikki T. Randall Servant Leadership Award.

### Plain-language summary

This resolution from the Georgia House of Representatives honors Catherine Hardrick, a disabled veteran, entrepreneur, and community leader, for receiving the 2025 Yellow Rose Nikki T. Randall Servant Leadership Award. The award is given each year during Women's History Month by the Georgia Women's Legislative Caucus to recognize women who embody the leadership of former Representative Nikki T. Randall, the first African American woman elected to the General Assembly from middle Georgia.
The resolution recounts Hardrick's military service, her decades-long career in the financial industry, her work running a feeding program for homeless veterans, her mentoring of youth, her advocacy on racial and social justice issues, and her podcast on local issues. It formally congratulates her and directs the Clerk of the House to prepare a copy of the resolution for her.

### What it does

- Congratulates and commends Catherine Hardrick for receiving the 2025 Yellow Rose Nikki T. Randall Servant Leadership Award.
- Directs the Clerk of the House of Representatives to prepare and distribute an official copy of the resolution to Hardrick.
- Recites background on Hardrick's military service, career, and community work as the basis for the honor.
- Does not create any new law, funding, or regulatory requirement, as a commendation resolution has no binding legal effect.

### Who it affects

This resolution directly names and honors Catherine Hardrick. It also references the Georgia Women's Legislative Caucus, former Representative Nikki T. Randall, and the Clerk of the House of Representatives, who must prepare the ceremonial copy.

### Why it matters
