A RESOLUTION
Congratulating Christen Rippe and Gavin Haslett, the 2024 Literary State Champions in
Dramatic Interpretation; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, Christen Rippe and Gavin Haslett have brought honor to Forsyth Central High
School and earned recognition as the 2024 Literary State Champions in Dramatic
Interpretation; and
WHEREAS, Christen and Gavin prevailed despite fierce competition from schools in
Cherokee County, Grayson County, and Richmond Hill; and
WHEREAS, their hard work, dedication, and perseverance have set an inspiring example of
success for future competitors and their peers; and
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper to recognize the accomplishments of these
outstanding individuals.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
the members of this body congratulate Christen Rippe and Gavin Haslett, the 2024 Literary
State Champions in Dramatic Interpretation, and extend best wishes for future success.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to make appropriate copies of this resolution available for distribution to
Christen Rippe and Gavin Haslett.
