A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending The Association of St. Augustine Alu mni-Atlanta; and for1
other purposes.2
WHEREAS, The Association of St. Augustine Alumni-Atlanta (ASAAA) is a distinguished3
network of graduates from St. Augustine's academic programs dedicated to fostering lifelong4
connections among its members and supporting the institution's mission; and5
WHEREAS, ASAAA serves as a vital hub for alumni to connect, sha re experiences, and6
contribute to the continued growth and success of St. Augustine, ensuring that the impact of7
its education extends far beyond graduation; and8
WHEREAS, ASAAA actively engages in charitable initiatives and s ervice projects9
throughout the Atlanta community, partnering with local schools , shelters, and other10
organizations in need of support to uphold the spirit of service instilled by St. Augustine; and11
WHEREAS, the association organizes reunions, networking opportunities, and fundraising12
events such as charity dinners, silent auctions, and golf tournaments to foster fellowship and13
generate resources for scholarships, student programs, and institutional needs; and14

WHEREAS, through initiatives like The ASAAA Scholarship and Mentorship Fundraiser,15
ASAAA provides financial aid, mentorship opportunities, and annual college tours to support16
St. Augustine students as they pursue higher education; and17
WHEREAS, the association is dedicated to preserving and enhanci ng the legacy of St.18
Augustine by encouraging alumni to contribute to the growth of future generations through19
mentorship, storytelling, and engagement in initiatives that en sure the continuation of the20
institution's values and traditions; and21
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this distingu ished organization be22
appropriately honored during this special time.23
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that24
the members of this body recognize and commend The Association of St. Augustine25
Alumni-Atlanta for its exceptional commitment to education, mentorship, and community26
service and extend best wishes for continued success in its mission.27
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized28
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to The29
Association of St. Augustine Alumni-Atlanta.30
