A RESOLUTION

Honoring and commending Mazal Tazazo, a survivor of the October 7th massacre, for her resilience and courage; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Mazal Tazazo is a survivor of the horrific October 7th massacre at the Nova music festival during the Hamas terror organization attack on Israel, during which 1,200 innocent men, women, and children were murdered and thousands more were injured; and

WHEREAS, despite the unimaginable hardships she endured, Mazal Tazazo has demonstrated remarkable strength, resilience, and perseverance in the face of adversity; and

WHEREAS, through her survival and advocacy, Mazal Tazazo serves as a beacon of hope and a testament to the indomitable Israeli spirit, inspiring individuals across the globe to stand against violence and uphold Israel and America's values of peace, justice, and humanity; and

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that this body, which has stood by and continues to stand by Israel and against terror, recognizes and honors survivors of the October 7th massacre.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body honor and commend Mazal Tazazo for her extraordinary bravery, extend their heartfelt support for her ongoing recovery and well-being, and express their deepest sympathies for all those affected by the tragedy of October 7th. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the members of this body continue to demand the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages remaining in captivity in Gaza. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make appropriate copies of this resolution available for distribution to Mazal Tazazo and to the Consulate General of Israel to the Southeastern United States.
