A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending Dr. Chanikki Brown-Reeves; and for other purposes.1
WHEREAS, a proper quality education for the young people of this state is the single most2
important objective of the General Assembly; and3
WHEREAS, with nearly two decades of educational experience, Dr. Chanikki Brown-Reeves4
has played a pivotal role in professional development leadershi p within Clayton County5
Public Schools, shaping the pedagogical landscape of the district's science department; and6
WHEREAS, in her role as a Title I Instructional Coach, she work s with teachers and7
administrators to design and implement development programs, co nduct classroom8
observations, and provide coaching to enhance instructional practices; and9
WHEREAS, her leadership has been instrumental in the certification of the STEM Initiative10
Program in partnership with AgriTech Solutions, Fort Valley State University Extension, and11
other stakeholders, expanding opportunities for students in agricultural education; and12

WHEREAS, Dr. Brown-Reeves' work with Agriteens and Georgia Wome n in Agriculture13
has significantly contributed to student success, fostering a passion for agricultural science14
and equipping students with the skills necessary for future careers in STEM fields; and15
WHEREAS, in recognition of such remarkable contributions to the education and welfare16
of Georgia's students, it is abundantly fitting and proper for this body to honor the17
extraordinary accomplishments and academic achievements of this outstanding education18
professional.19
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that20
the members of this body recognize and commend Dr. Chanikki Bro wn-Reeves for her21
outstanding leadership in STEM and agricultural education as well as extend best wishes for22
her continued success.23
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized24
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Dr.25
Chanikki Brown-Reeves.26
