A RESOLUTION
Honoring Jackson Hogsed for winning the 2024 GHSA Class 6A Individual Cross Country1
State Championship; and for other purposes.2
WHEREAS, Jackson Hogsed, a student-athlete at Lambert High School, has demonstrated3
outstanding endurance, dedication, and perseverance in the sport of cross country; and4
WHEREAS, through his exceptional performance, Jackson Hogsed secured the title of 20245
GHSA Class 6A Boys Individual Cross Country State Champion, bringing great pride and6
recognition to Lambert High School and Forsyth County; and7
WHEREAS, Coach James Tigue has the esteemed privilege of serving as Head Coach to the8
program and oversaw countless hours of training and competition to assist in the growth of9
Mr. Hogsed and his teammates; and10
WHEREAS, his victory is a testament to his commitment to excellence, countless hours of11
training, and the unwavering support of his coaches, teammates, family, and school12

WHEREAS, his athletic achievements serve as an inspiration to his peers and a reflection of14
the values of hard work, sportsmanship, and determination.15
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that16
the members of this body recognize and honor Jackson Hogsed for his exceptional17
accomplishment as the 2024 GHSA Class 6A Boys Individual Cross Country State18
Champion.19
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized20
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution ava ilable for distribution to21
Jackson Hogsed.22
