A RESOLUTION

Commending Oluwasore Edward, Rockdale County High School's Class of 2025 valedictorian; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, a proper quality education for the young people of this state is the single most important objective of the General Assembly; and

WHEREAS, Oluwasore Edward has shown by academic accomplishment that the pursuit and attainment of scholastic success are within the reach of the students in this state; and

WHEREAS, this remarkable senior has earned distinction through her notable achievements as a student at Rockdale County High School where she is a member of the beta club, the color guard, the national honor society, G.I.F.T.S, the national art honor society, and RCA ambassadors; and

WHEREAS, she has been selected as valedictorian by earning exemplary grades in the most challenging academic courses while maintaining a substantial extracurricular schedule throughout her academic career; and

WHEREAS, this achievement is the culmination of Oluwasore Edward's hard work and determination, and she deserves much credit for her energy and dedication to academic excellence; and

WHEREAS, she is an outstanding representative of the young people of this state and it is only fitting and proper that she be recognized for her many accomplishments.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body heartily commend Oluwasore Edward for her spectacular scholastic endeavors and express their most sincere best wishes for continued success. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Oluwasore Edward.
