A RESOLUTION

Commending Miguel Pimentel, Heritage High School's Class of 2025 salutatorian; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, a proper quality education for the young people of this state is the single most important objective of the General Assembly; and

WHEREAS, Miguel Pimentel has shown by academic accomplishment that the pursuit and attainment of scholastic success are within the reach of the students in this state; and

WHEREAS, this remarkable senior has earned distinction through his notable achievements as a student at Heritage High School where he is a member of the national beta club, the RCA ambassadors, national honor society, Heritage High School student ambassadors, and SkillsUSA; and

WHEREAS, he has been selected as salutatorian by earning exemplary grades in the most challenging academic courses while maintaining a substantial extracurricular schedule throughout his academic career; and

WHEREAS, this achievement is the culmination of Miguel Pimentel's hard work and determination, and he deserves much credit for his energy and dedication to academic excellence; and

WHEREAS, he is an outstanding representative of the young people of this state and it is only fitting and proper that he be recognized for his many accomplishments.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body heartily commend Miguel Pimentel for his spectacular scholastic endeavors and express their most sincere best wishes for continued success. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Miguel Pimentel.
