A RESOLUTION

Recognizing and commending Terry Walker Moore; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, March is celebrated as Women's History Month, a time to honor and recognize the invaluable contributions of women throughout history and across all fields and trades; and

WHEREAS, Terry Walker Moore's contributions to the community reflect the core values of Women's History Month; and

WHEREAS, a woman of faith and a devoted wife, mother, godmother, grandmother, and mentor to many, Terry is dedicated to inspiring others to finding their purpose and living happy prosperous, holy, and righteous lives; and

WHEREAS, she is widely recognized for her leadership and unwavering commitment to the Boys and Girls Clubs community for 24 years; and

WHEREAS, she is a recipient of numerous honors, including the C.A.R.E. Award from the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Atlanta, the Maytag Dependable Leader Award from Boys and Girls Clubs of America, and the 2020 Paul Harris Fellow recognition from the Rotary Club of Rockdale; and

WHEREAS, her leadership reaches the broader community, where she is a dedicated advocate for youth development and people who are in need of opportunity; and

WHEREAS, a hardworking and passionate leader, Terry remains committed to guiding future generations toward their full potential while sharing the good news of the Gospel; and

WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding contributions of this remarkable woman are recognized during Women's History Month.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body recognize and commend Terry Walker Moore for her unwavering dedication to service and extend sincere best wishes for her continued health, happiness, and success.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Terry Walker Moore.
