A RESOLUTION
Recognizing International Literacy Day, honoring the contributions of Trinity International
University of Ambassadors, and celebrating Dr. Jacqueline Mohair and Dr. Cheryl
Polote-Williamson; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, International Literacy Day, established by UNESCO and observed annually on
September 8, highlights the critical importance of literacy in fostering education, social
inclusion, and sustainable development across the globe; and
WHEREAS, literacy is a fundamental right that empowers individuals, strengthens
communities, and drives societal progress, and this day serves as an opportunity to address
global literacy challenges and advocate for inclusive learning opportunities; and
WHEREAS, the State of Georgia recognizes and celebrates the transformative work of Dr.
Jacqueline Mohair, founder of Trinity International University of Ambassadors, TIUA
School of Business, and Trinity International Chaplaincy Institute, for her lifelong dedication
to advancing education, leadership, and global advocacy through innovative programs; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Mohair, through the Doctor of Philosophy in Christian Literary and Fine
Arts Leadership program, has created a platform for leaders to integrate faith, literary arts,
and leadership, providing a profound impact on communities in Georgia and worldwide; and
WHEREAS, the program is guided by Dr. Cheryl Polote-Williamson, Dean of Christian
Literary Arts and Leadership, whose mentorship and inclusion of the Soul Shift Coaching
Program equip students with purpose-driven leadership and mindset mastery; and
WHEREAS, the program emphasizes practical applications of literary and leadership skills,
with students presenting capstone projects or dissertations on global platforms, including the
United Nations International Literacy Day, amplifying their contributions to literacy
advocacy; and
WHEREAS, the State of Georgia acknowledges the critical role of literacy in creating
equitable opportunities and recognizes the contributions of Trinity International University
of Ambassadors in preparing leaders to address modern educational and social challenges
through faith and creativity.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
the members of this body recognize International Literacy Day and its mission to promote
literacy as a tool for individual empowerment and global progress, honor Trinity
International University of Ambassadors, and celebrate the contributions of Dr. Jacqueline
Mohair and Dr. Cheryl Polote-Williamson in guiding students to become global advocates
for literacy and leadership.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to make appropriate copies of this resolution available for distribution to Dr.
Jacqueline Mohair and Trinity International University of Ambassadors.
