A RESOLUTION
Commending the Fellowship Christian Lady Paladins varsity socce r team for winning the1
2024 GHSA 2A Girls Soccer State Championship; and for other purposes.2
WHEREAS, the Fellowship Christian Lady Paladins varsity soccer team has established and3
maintained a proud tradition of excellence with equal emphases on character and academics;4
and5
WHEREAS, this superlative team has completed a triumphant season of soccer competition6
by posting an excellent record of 13 wins, three losses, and two ties; and7
WHEREAS, excellent play, superior teamwork, and extraordinary resilience made this team8
a spectacular one to observe throughout the season, and as a fitting finale to its remarkable9
2024 campaign, the team captured its third girls soccer state championship in school history;10
and11
WHEREAS, the phenomenal performance of the team is a clear indication of the outstanding12
athletic ability, the dedication and hard work, and the unity o f purpose and spirit of each13
member of the team; its superb offensive and defensive talents; and the astute direction of14
Head Coach Andy Trevers; and15

WHEREAS, as this magnificent team earned its well-deserved reputation for excellence by16
performing with courage and precision over months of training a nd competition, it is17
abundantly proper to call them champions.18
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that19
the members of this body commend the Fellowship Christian Lady Paladins varsity soccer20
team for winning the 2024 GHSA 2A Girls Soccer State Championship and extend their most21
sincere best wishes for continued success.22
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized23
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the24
Fellowship Christian Lady Paladins varsity soccer team.25
