A RESOLUTION
Commending the Milton Eagles boys golf team for winning the 2024 GHSA 7A Boys Golf1
State Championship; and for other purposes.2
WHEREAS, the Milton Eagles boys golf team has established and m aintained a proud3
tradition of excellence with equal emphases on character and academics; and4
WHEREAS, this superlative team has completed another triumphant season of golf5
competition that included several prestigious tournament invites and wins; and6
WHEREAS, excellent play, superior teamwork, and extraordinary resilience made this team7
a spectacular one to observe throughout the season, and as a fitting finale to its remarkable8
2024 campaign, the team captured its fifth boys golf state championship in school history and9
fourth state championship in a row; and10
WHEREAS, the phenomenal performance of the team is a clear indication of the outstanding11
athletic ability, the dedication and hard work, and the unity o f purpose and spirit of each12
member of the team; its elite skill level and continuing growth ; and the astute direction of13
Head Coach Tom Dell; and14

WHEREAS, as this magnificent team earned its well-deserved reputation for excellence by15
performing with confidence, grit, and precision over months of training and competition, it16
is abundantly proper to call them champions.17
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that18
the members of this body commend the Milton Eagles boys golf team for winning the 202419
GHSA 7A Boys Golf State Championship and extend their most sinc ere best wishes for20
continued success. 21
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized22
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the23
Milton Eagles boys golf team.24
