A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending Daniel O'Connor for his service in r edistricting and1
celebrating his birthday; and for other purposes.2
WHEREAS, Daniel O'Connor has demonstrated an exceptional commit ment to public3
service through his extensive career in legislative analysis, policy research, and redistricting4
in the State of Georgia; and5
WHEREAS, Daniel O'Connor has served in various roles over decades, including with the6
Georgia Republican Party and the Georgia House of Representativ es Reapportionment7
Office, contributing his expertise to the complex and critical task of redistricting legislative8
districts; and9
WHEREAS, he has provided invaluable support and guidance to leg islators, produced10
detailed analysis of voting patterns and demographics, and helped ensure fair and effective11
representation for the people of Georgia; and12
WHEREAS, his work has been instrumental during multiple redistricting cycles, including13
the post-2010 cycle and the 2006 adjustments, during which he helped transition Georgia to14
single-member districts and supported efforts that shaped the legislative map of the state; and15

WHEREAS, Daniel O'Connor's efforts reflect a dedication not only to sound governance and16

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that22
the members of this body recognize and commend Daniel O'Connor for his outstanding23
contributions to the State of Georgia through his service in redistricting and reapportionment24
and extend heartfelt congratulations to him on the occasion of his birthday, March 25, 1963.25
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized26
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution ava ilable for distribution to27
