A RESOLUTION
Commending the Authors Expert Academy for its contributions on World Book and
Copyright Day and recognizing April 23, 2025, as the Authors Expert Academy Day in
Georgia; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, World Book and Copyright Day, established by UNESCO and observed
annually on April 23, celebrates the power of books to promote knowledge, bridge cultural
divides, and foster understanding across communities and nations; and
WHEREAS, the Authors Expert Academy, an initiative of the TIUA School of Business and
TIUA Corp. Florida, has demonstrated exemplary leadership in promoting the enjoyment of
books and reading while raising awareness about the importance of intellectual property
rights and copyright protections; and
WHEREAS, the Authors Expert Academy provides a transformative platform for aspiring
and established authors, equipping them with the tools, education, and mentorship needed
to elevate their craft and contribute meaningfully to global literature; and
WHEREAS, the academy actively encourages the celebration of books, authors, and
publishers, fostering a deep appreciation for storytelling and creative expression in Georgia
and beyond; and
WHEREAS, the Authors Expert Academy aligns with the principles of World Book and
Copyright Day by raising awareness about the importance of intellectual property rights,
advocating for fair recognition and protection of authors' contributions, and supporting
efforts to combat copyright infringement; and
WHEREAS, the academy has inspired authors and readers to connect through stories that
bridge gaps, uplift communities, and drive meaningful change, embodying the spirit of
World Book and Copyright Day.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
the members of this body commend the Authors Expert Academy for its outstanding
contributions to the promotion of books, reading, and intellectual property rights in alignment
with the goals of World Book and Copyright Day as well as recognize April 23, 2025, as the
Authors Expert Academy Day in Georgia in honor of its efforts to inspire creativity,
celebrate the written word, and advocate for the rights of authors and publishers.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the
Authors Expert Academy.
