R. 853 - 1 - 25 LC 112 3512 instrumental in cementing Georgia as a national leader in commercial real estate over the past15 century; and16 WHEREAS, in 2014, BOMA Georgia established the BOMA Georgia Fou ndation, a17 charitable organization contributing to research and education in the commercial real estate18 industry that has increased support of the State of Georgia's role as a cutting-edge leader in19 commercial real estate and business initiatives for nearly a decade; and20 WHEREAS, BOMA Georgia has been recognized nationally for excellence in diversity and21 inclusion; environmental sustainability; education; volunteerism; corporate responsibility;22 and more across its 112-year lifespan; and23 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstandi ng accomplishments and24 history of this extraordinary organization be recognized.25 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that26 the members of this body commend the Building Owners and Manage rs Association of27 Georgia upon its 112th anniversary and recognize February 4, 2025, as BOMA Georgia Day28 at the state capitol.29 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized30 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the31 Building Owners and Managers Association of Georgia.32 H.
