A RESOLUTION
Recognizing May 15, 2025, as United Nations International Day for Families in the State of
Georgia; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, the United Nations General Assembly established the International Day for
Families in 1993 through Resolution A/RES/47/237 to promote awareness of issues related
to families and enhance understanding of the social, economic, and demographic processes
affecting families globally; and
WHEREAS, families are fundamental units of society essential to the development and
well-being of individuals and communities, and their strength and stability contribute to
sustainable development, societal harmony, and generational progress; and
WHEREAS, the United Nations International Day for Families highlights annual themes that
address critical aspects of family dynamics, including health, education, equality, work-life
balance, and sustainable development, and serves as a call to action for governments,
organizations, and communities to support families in their diverse forms; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Jacqueline Mohair, founder of Trinity Girls Network Corp., Trinity
International University of Ambassadors (TIUA), Trinity International Chaplaincy Institute,
and TIUA School of Business, has exemplified visionary leadership in promoting the
importance of families through faith, education, and economic empowerment; and
WHEREAS, Trinity Girls Network Corp., a non-governmental organization with
Consultative Status from the United Nations Economic and Social Council, along with its
affiliated organizations, celebrates the International Day for Families with a special
observance in the State of Georgia on May 14, fostering awareness of the significance of
family unity, faith, and legacy building; and
WHEREAS, the observance highlights the principle that "a family that prays together stays
together" while emphasizing that families who create wealth together build strong legacies
for generations to come, empowering future leaders and strengthening the social fabric of
communities; and
WHEREAS, through initiatives such as The Family Business, these organizations underscore
the vital role of families in entrepreneurship, economic empowerment, and the creation of
sustainable legacies, inspiring families to work collaboratively to achieve financial stability
and generational success; and
WHEREAS, TIUA, in partnership with The Family Business initiative, hosts an annual
Family Day Celebration at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, underscoring the
essential role of family legacy and entrepreneurship in fostering a sustainable future; this
event aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, empowering families
to drive global progress through innovation, leadership, and faith.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
the members of this body recognize May 15, 2025, as United Nations International Day for
Families in the State of Georgia and commend the work of Dr. Jacqueline Mohair, Trinity
Girls Network Corp., and their affiliated organizations for their dedication to strengthening
families, promoting economic empowerment, and fostering generational legacies.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the members of this body encourage all citizens of
Georgia to join in this observance by reflecting on the significance of family in their lives
and communities as well as participating in acts of worship, prayer, thanksgiving, and
educational engagement to strengthen the bonds of family and society.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to make appropriate copies of this resolution available for distribution to Dr.
Jacqueline Mohair, Trinity Girls Network Corp., and the United Nations.
